This past season was a great one for the Lawrence Bearcats. The team achieved or exceeded every goal that it had set for itself. Our goals relate not only to wins and losses
but to how our players improve and conduct themselves. We made significant progress toward our overall goal of establishing a quality program which produces competitive teams.

- 2000 State AAA Championship Runners-up
- 2000 Hoosier League Play-off Champions
- 2000 Hoosier League Regular Season Runners-up
- 2000 Carmel Crossover Classic Tournament Champions
- Team Record: 33-13-1 (.717%)
- Average Penalty Minutes per game have dropped by 65% over the last two seasons
- We scored twice as many power play goals (55) as we gave up (27)
- 75% of our schedule was played against AAA or AA teams
- Our team GPA was just under 3.0 with 10 players above 3.0.
